Tecstar Security Services is a Division of Tecstar International Limited, an engineering-based firm specialized in the
provision of technical services and consultancy in various areas of Engineering and Applied Science.
Tecstar was first incorporated as TECSTAR CORPORATION in Boston, United States of America in 1980, and was later moved
to Nigeria as TECSTAR INTERNATIONAL late in 1981. In 1991, it was formally incorporated at the Corporate Affairs Commission
as TECSTAR INTERNATIONAL LIMITED.
One area of activity of TECSTAR is the provision of Oilfield Engineering Services for major Oil Companies, such as the
Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited. In the course of providing such services, the company came to
take issues such as Health, Safety, Environment, and Security very seriously. Security became so important to TECSTAR
that it decided to create an important, semi-independent Division now called TECSTAR SECURITY SERVICES.
